Elementer Posts Templates
Hello,
I am using the MyListing theme with Elementor Pro on HogarDeAncianos.com. I am planning to redesign the layout for all regular WordPress blog posts.
I noticed that Elementor Theme Builder currently shows no existing “Single Post” template, but individual posts can still be edited with Elementor. It appears that MyListing/the theme is controlling the outer post wrapper, content width, margins, and general single-post layout, while Elementor controls only the content area inside the post.
Before I build a new global post template, I want to confirm the safest recommended approach.
My goal is to create a two-column blog post layout with:
- Main article content column
- Right sidebar
- Author box
- Newsletter signup form
- Sponsor/ad blocks
- Post search shortcode
- Related posts section
- Comments section
Questions:
- Does MyListing support using Elementor Theme Builder to create a global Single Post template for regular WordPress posts?
- If yes, what display condition should be used so it applies only to blog posts and does not affect listing pages or other MyListing content types?
- Is there a recommended way to remove or override the default MyListing/theme post container width and margins?
- Are there theme settings or template files controlling the single post layout that I should adjust instead of using Elementor Theme Builder?
- Is there any risk that creating an Elementor Single Post template will interfere with MyListing listing pages, listing types, or directory pages?
I want to avoid creating a fragile workaround inside individual posts if there is a cleaner theme-supported method.
Appreciate if anyone could lead me in the right direction. Thanks
Hi. Thank you for your post.
- Yes
- Single Posts
- That's done in your Single Post template within Elementor
- I would stay away from MyListing's post template unless you are comfortable with CSS and you're willing to have very basic posts. The Club has CSS to make the posts look like this or like this, but I personally do everything in Elementor Pro for post templates.
- No
